Have you ever considered that we are made for ministry? God created us, called us, and gifted us for ministry. For Christians, service is not optional, but expected. Is there really anything more important than investing our lives in service for Jesus Christ? University’s Elders encourage every member to get involved in ministry. You don’t have to be voted into a ministry. According to your gifts and your heart for ministry, whatever it is you feel deeply about, you can begin ministering immediately. You even have the freedom to begin a new ministry as long as it fits with our beliefs, values, philosophy of ministry, purpose and mission of University. If you are not sure what ministry you fit in, then begin participating in different ones until you discover your God-given gifts and then use your gifts to glorify God through ministry. A healthy body is one in which each part is contributing to the whole, according to its purpose.

As a member, you are part of a very special and blessed body of God’s Kingdom. As a minister, you can find spiritual health and great assurance of your faith, that’s God’s promise! We want God’s every blessing on your life as one of our flock, and it is clear through scripture that we each need to find that special place, whether large or small, where we can contribute and be the hands and feet of Christ!
